Deepfakes as a form of Image-Based Sexual Abuse: An Analysis

Abstract
The advancement in Information and Communication facilities have made drastic changes in human life especially in the way of people communicate. However, these developments also have a darker side, giving rise to serious challenges through various forms online abuses. Among them, the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and creation of deepfakes images or videos are most concerning issue which demand high social and legal attention. This paper outlines legal and social issues in related to deepfakes and provided with suggestive legal solutions.
